Kelly Cass once admitted on Facebook that she was born with no hair at all, and wore taped bows on her head until she was two years old. Once the hair came, it came with beauty and strength. It may have helped Cass join a central New York TV station before age 20, then the Weather Channel at 26. It's certainly thrilled Hair Fans, who voted Cass the Best Hair in Science and Meteorology five times from 2013-18.
Cass did brief work as a model, while she studied in South Korea as a teenager. A picture she posted on Instagram indicated this was one of the few times when she had bangs. Whether or not she prepared the style for the photo, her hair reflected her best Weather Channel looks - close to the eyes, but refusing to move closer.
Cass's toughest hair challenge at the Weather Channel may have come in June 2016, when she sat in a van on a summer day to illustrate how dangerous hot vehicles can be. Her style barely weakened in 26 minutes, even though she said she became light-headed. That left no doubt that even a late bloomer can have Super-Hair quality, which can survive almost anything.
