Faith Hill

BORN: 9/21/67, Jackson, MS

INDUCTED: 2007, 76-percent majority

Faith Hill has worked her way up the ladder of country music, to become one of its most famous names. And following the tradition of her field, Hill's hair has been watched closely along the way. Hair Fans have grown to admire her styles, especially when they're bright blonde and stretching below the shoulders.

Hill has been a regular on magazine covers throughout the first decade of the 21st century. Looks such as this one in Us Weekly made her especially popular in the early years of Super-Hair.Net. She was the first woman to win two Crown Awards in one year, and captured double awards for Best Long Hair and Best Hairstyle in Music in both 2000 and 2001. Hill also worked her way up from a #7 seed to the first Super-Hair Wars finals, for the 2000 season.

But Hill has dared to experiment with her hair at times, such as a controversial cut to a bob early in 2002. She grew the style back out in mid-decade, to the delight of many Hair Fans. The variety and success led to a place on Super-Hair's list of the decade's top styles.

This picture from a 2006-07 appearance on Oprah shows hair that appears loose and natural, but is probably carefully prepared and sprayed into position. That work explains how well the style lasts during concert performances -- and even when Hill took on an aggressive fan of husband Tim McGraw, only days before her induction. To borrow from another country music legend, Hill stands by her man. And Hair Fans want to stand by quality styles such as hers.
