Jessica Simpson was a rising pop star when Super-Hair.Net began in 2000. She made a strong debut in Super-Hair Wars, with a simple-looking display of layered blunt-cut straight hair (shown above). Simpson gained two regular-season wins and reached the playoff semifinals, including conquests of fellow Hall of Fame member Faith Hill and actress Sarah Jessica Parker.
Simpson has been quoted as saying she's "played the role of the blonde." Yet she was smart enough to add strong waves to her blonde locks, as she matured and became the Newlywed bride of Nick Lachey. Personal stylist Ken Pavés made occasional appearances on her MTV reality show.
At times, Simpson has kept fans as to the exact nature of her hair. She's shown brunette looks on occasion, and joined with Pavés in releasing the "Hair U Wear" line of extensions. On one memorable morning in New York, Simpson's hair grew progressively longer as she moved from one national TV talk show to another.
Yet Simpson seems to have fun with her hair, as she shows a variety of different looks. That's perfectly fine with some Hair Fans, who regularly offer her for the Crown Awards. This well-groomed style for the 2006 movie Employee of the Month led to a Crown duel which was not settled until the final days of voting. While Anne Hathaway won then, Simpson's years of attractive hair put her here first.
