Victoria Warren

BORN: New York, NY (date undisclosed)

INDUCTED: 2010, 68-percent majority

Victoria Warren's career as a TV reporter has followed a familiar path -- from Northwestern University to stations in Kansas, Nebraska and Oregon. But when she moved in 2006 from Jacksonville to Boston, something changed. She entered an area with a high concentration of Hair Fans -- and they moved quickly to make her a star.

Warren first appeared on the Super-Hair Hot List in March 2008, nominated for this shoulder-length sidepart. But when she cut her hair further to a bob, supporters saw a woman with true Super-Hair potential.

This vidcap from an appearance at the 2009 Boston Health Expo shows the precision of Warren's cut. It's trimmed at chin-length throughout, except for hair angling above the left eye. That angle is the focal dramatic point of the style. Warren wears it close to her eye, yet keeps it reliably in line on the air. She hasn't revealed exactly how she does it -- and that may only add to the fascination Hair Fans have with her style.

Warren's short cut became an undefeated champion of Super-Hair Wars late in 2008, and went on to win the playoff for Champion Hairstyle of the Year. But then came Warren's defining website moment, as she dominated Bonnie Bernstein to win Challenge of Champions VIII. It was Bernstein's first-ever head-to-head defeat - and Warren used that springboard to win six Crown Awards in 2008-09, including back-to-back awards for Best Short Hair. That late rush also earned Warren a spot in Super-Hair's top 20 styles of its first ten years -- showing the power a strong short style can have, especially when Hair Fans loyally admire it.
