The 2nd Annual Crown Awards

We asked for your nominations. Then we asked for your votes. And on Sunday, March 10 we announced the winners of the Crown Awards for 2001! And here they are....

BEST SHORT HAIR -- McKENZIE WESTMORE.

The star of "Passions" dominated the voting, but runner-up Melissa McDermott gained almost all the praise in the comments section. A typical note: "Hairstyle almost as hot as she is."

Westmore 51%; McDermott 24%; Dorothy Hamill 16%; Marg Helgenberger 5%; Sandra Pinckney 3%.

BEST LONG HAIR -- FAITH HILL.

The country singer trailed throughout, but stole the award from Jennifer Aniston literally on the last day of voting. She wins this category for the second year in a row!

Hill 40%; Aniston 37%; Suzanne Somers 13%; Bobbie Battista 6%; Carolyn Hughes 4%.

BEST BANGS -- SUSAN McGINNIS.
