Super-hair World Cup I

EXPLAINING RULES AND STANDINGS

The 12 nations in Super-Hair World Cup I were divided into three groups in a live online drawing December 26, 2001. The four nations in each group had a series of round-robin one-on-one matches. The leading nation in each group advanced to the semi-finals, joined by one top runner-up.

The standings in each group were determined by a point system somewhat similar to soccer/football. A match win was awarded a minimum of two points; with ties resulting in one point for each nation. Bonus points were awarded, based on margins of victory. A winning percentage of at least 200% result in one bonus point, 300% an additional bonus point, etc.
