Pamella Azeredo

BORN: 12/10/96, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

INDUCTED: 2024, 69-percent majority

The internet/social media era has allowed relatively obscure women to become worldwide stars. Pamella Azeredo is one prize example. While she has a law degree, she's become a popular influencer based on her well-prepared rarely-pinned long hair. By offering product endorsements and step-by-step care tips, Hair Fans have largely forgotten about much better-known Brazilian supermodels to make Azeredo their own.

Azeredo was a dark brunette during much of the 2010s, including this 2015 photo. But in an April 2018 Facebook post, she credited a stylist named Lotufo for changing her shade to a "bright brunette." The color brightened from there until Azeredo was suggested as a Crown Award candidate for Best Blonde.

The color change may have helped Azeredo win the top-level Crown for "Best Long Hair" in 2019 and 2020, then again in 2023. Azeredo realizes her followers love her length - so much that she sometimes puts them in suspense by playfully hinting at possible cuts. But the cuts never happen, leaving tens of thousands of followers longing to touch Azeredo's long mane. They also help make her the first member of this Hall from South America.
