Rachelle Lefevre
BORN: 2/1/79, Trois-Rivieres, QC
INDUCTED: 2019, 74-percent majority
Some Hair Fans are delighted by red hair. Others thrill at the sight of great natural curls. Put the two together, and the result is actress Rachelle Lefevre - who keeps the color fairly constant, but knows how to adjust her curls to characters and situations so Hair Fans are constantly interested.
Lefevre first gained national attention in the 1999 sci-fi series Big Wolf on Campus (left). But supporting roles in two Twilight films made her a big-name star. A top role followed in Under the Dome, which earned Lefevre the Crown Award for Best Curls in 2013 along with second place for Best Redhead.
A discussion board at the "Naturally Curly" website concluded Lefevre has Type 2 curls, which Allure magazine defines as "bendable." She can straighten them out for a change of pace, but also tighten them to provide flexing hair drama in action roles. Whatever Lefevre does, they don't seem to get out of line often. And to borrow from one Hair Fan online, that can make her styles the most entertaining part of any performance.
