Connie Sellecca (Tesh)

BORN: 5/25/55, New York, NY

INDUCTED: 2026, 100-percent majority

Connie Sellecca became a familiar face on television in the late 1970s. But she became famous as the love interest of The Greatest American Hero in 1981 (above). While that hero was a bumbler, Sellecca played a smart attorney - and it showed in her care with long brunette hair. Styles could be pinned, wrapped or placed behind the shoulders, but often were thick enough for Hair Fans to long for an episode where she was in peril.

Sellecca moved on to star in another ABC series. Hotel put her in a slightly more glamorous role, but she didn't have to adjust her hair much to show it. Her styles stayed strong, with bangs occasionally coming out to show they really were not in danger. They may have inspired the sale of "Sellecca Solution" beauty products for several years.

Sellecca hasn't changed her basic look much during her long marriage and career partnership with John Tesh. Bangs are common to prevent mussing, even though that's seldom been an issue with her. Sellecca hosts Intelligence for Your Life on radio and podcasts, while showing her intelligence with making great hair last a lifetime.
