HER BEST STYLE: We say it's the neck-length look of our background photo -- with plenty of bangs, although it's obvious that she doesn't consider it essential to keep them on the forehead. Our "list" photo, from her current job with CBS's Early Show, is a bit more rounded than the MTV years. HISTORY: Some rated her the best VJ ever - and as far as we're concerned, it was for more than her on-air personality. While she's a bouncy type, her hair has never been. The style adjusts to her head shakes, but still seems able to dig in and hold when serious challenges develop.

WHY SHE'S RANKED HERE: As close as she's worn her hair to the eyes, we've never seen this high-risk cut completely collapse. (Then again, we didn't check the European sites advertising pictures of her nude.) Of everyone on our list associated with music, she ranks at the top.
