The Hair Fan's Hall of Fame - 2023
In 2023, we received about a dozen candidates for the Hair Fan's Hall of Fame. We trimmed the list to five finalists - and after three weeks of voting to determine two-thirds support, we welcomed one new member to your Hall!
Class of 2023
KERRI CORRADO - INDUCTED. We knew this Philadelphia TV reporter would be our most controversial entry. After an up-and-down start, she rose in the final week to win 74% approval. "She kicked Victoria Warren," one voter wrote about the 2022 Super-Hair Wars champion; "she should be honored just for that accomplishment."
LIZ CLAMAN. A Fox Business host appeared to be a lock for induction, but support for her locks dropped and a 62% majority fell short of the Hall. "How can you not love their redhead?" one Hair Fan said.
RESHMA SHETTY. A British actress best known for the cable TV series Royal Pains had majority support. But 58% fell short of two-thirds, despite praise for "soft and silky-looking, great body" styles.
AMANDA SEYFRIED. An actress who shared the Crown Award for Best Hairstyle in a Movie in 2018 was called "best candidate of the bunch" by one voter, but only received 33% backing.
LEAH REMINI. A veteran actress and one-time Top Ten Tresses member flopped with our voters, receiving only 20% support. We don't think a lawsuit she filed during the voting against the Church of Scientology made a difference.
NOTE: The Hall of Fame Veterans Committee did not meet in 2023 due to lack of interest.
Final vote totals: Corrado 20-7, Claman 13-8, Shetty 11-8, Seyfried 4-8, Remini 3-12.
